My experience and suggestions
When I was in 4th grade and started looking for a career to study, journalism caught my attention immediately. I always liked to inform and transmit information of any kind to people, I felt that it flowed when writing or narrating facts.
Now that I am in my second year of journalism, the degree is fully meeting my expectations. The classes I have had since first year have taught me many things that perhaps I was not very clear about in the past, speaking of which there is little change I would make. The classes in which I have learned the most are writing, research, reporting and a sports magazine workshop that I took.
What I would add would perhaps be more variety of electives, workshops and courses, so that in this way it can satisfy the tastes of all students.
Regarding the academic load and the duration of the studies, I feel that the Universidad de Chile is quite empathetic and flexible, in my two years I have not felt so stressed or have had bad times.
A few weeks ago the face-to-face classes began at the U and I finally got to know her. Although I know a couple of rooms, I have found them great. The environment is very welcoming and conducive to learning. The university has various technological tools for our development, such as: cameras, recorders, TV studio, computers, etc.
